Title: Spirit of San Antonio
Location: Alamo Plaza
Artist: Suzan Browning
Sponsor: Mr. & Mrs. Toby O'Connor

"The Spirit of San Antonio or 'Remember the Alamo' is painted in a bright, vivid style using graphic elements representing Texas, San Antonio and The Alamo giving the cow a true "fiesta feeling"," says artist Suzan Browning. Suzan Browning is a freelance graphic designer with 15 years of experience in the greeting card industry. Her work has been produced by Current, Inc., Carlton Cards, American Greetings, Hallmark, Marcel Schurman, and Gibson's Greetings. Motherhood inspired an interest in children's books, which led to illustrating The Little Angel Who Lost Faith, published in 1994. Recently she has been able to merge her artistic talents with her giving nature by designing and painting murals for local charity organizations.

This cow is one of the 'udderly' unique works of art sold in Herd 5 of the internet auction conducted by Business Here. The Herd 5 auction ran from June 12 to June 19, 2003.
