Title: Knick-Knack Paddy-Whack Give the Cow a Home
Location: North Star Mall
Artist: Debbie Brown
Sponsor: Dr. & Mrs. Marvin Brown

Expertly crafted, almost every inch of this cow is covered with a wonderful trinket representing San Antonio. Pearls, bells, whistles, maracas, Alamo ornaments, Fiesta metals, trees, flowers, plastic cascarones, Spurs memorabilia, and representations of the Air Force and animal and reptilian life in San Antonio all adorned this spectacular work of art. "So much culture, so many colors and festivities - I hope that I have captured the spirit of San Antonio on this cow," said artist Debbie Brown. Ms. Brown has been painting since she was a child, but did not call it her profession until after retiring from Southwest Airlines after 20 years. After obtaining a degree in Fine Arts from the University of San Antonio, Debbie has literally traveled the world studying and painting. She was one of 19 artists from the United States chosen to paint "Domaine du Haut Baran", a chateau in the south of France. She now resides in San Antonio and has found a niche remodeling older and historic homes.

This cow is one of the 'udderly' unique works of art sold in Herd 2 of the internet auction conducted by Business Here. The Herd 2 auction ran from May 28 to June 03, 2003.
